GASTROTEK ENGINEERING SERVICES CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTING TOURISM TRADE LTD. takes the highest level of security measures to ensure that your personal data is collected, stored, and shared lawfully, and to protect your privacy. Our aim is to transparently inform you, in accordance with Article 10 of Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, about the methods of collecting your personal data, the purposes of processing, the parties with whom data may be shared, legal grounds, and your rights.

a) Data Controller
Pursuant to the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“Law No. 6698”), your personal data will be collected and processed by GASTROTEK ENGINEERING SERVICES CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTING TOURISM TRADE LTD. (“COMPANY”) as the data controller, within the scope explained below.

b) Purposes of Processing Personal Data
The COMPANY may collect personal data from customers, employees, prospective customers, job applicants, business partners, and suppliers in categories such as identity information, contact details, customer information, transaction information, transaction security information, legal and compliance information, and marketing/sales information.

Your personal data may be processed for the following purposes:

  • To provide the COMPANY’s products and services to you, fulfill our obligations toward you, maintain records and documentation, comply with domestic and international legal obligations regarding data storage, reporting, informing, tax, and other responsibilities;
  • To deliver personalized advertising, campaigns, benefits, and other advantages aimed at improving the quality of products and services;
  • To manage and audit infrastructure and commercial activities, including finance, accounting, invoicing, collections, IT systems, data and website hosting, business continuity, document and print management, and related internal policies and procedures;
  • To communicate necessary information to you regarding services and products, and to meet IT requirements or support services;
  • To conduct traffic measurement, statistical analysis, segmentation/profiling, and CRM activities for sales and marketing;
  • To measure and improve customer satisfaction, manage complaints, obtain your opinions and suggestions about new services and products, and respond to issues, errors, and complaints;
  • To process orders, execute payments, collaborate with third parties for logistics, suggest relevant products and services, and carry out online behavioral advertising and marketing, customer portfolio management, service quality measurement and improvement, communication, optimization, supervision, risk management and control, promotions, analysis, interest determination, scoring, profiling, marketing, sales, advertising, and communication;
  • For comparative product and/or service proposals, modeling, existing or new product development and/or improvement, and for use in any product or service offered to you under the COMPANY’s articles of association and relevant laws;
  • To comply with reporting, informing, and data retention obligations imposed by public authorities, fulfill contractual requirements, and meet legal obligations related to the use of these services;
  • To determine and implement the COMPANY’s commercial and business strategies, including financial operations, communication, market research, social responsibility activities, procurement operations (request, offer, evaluation, order, budgeting, contracts), internal system and application management, and legal operations;
  • To comply with applicable laws and regulatory obligations (including anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism laws), follow legal procedures, and examine, evaluate, and respond to requests from official authorities (including those outside your country of residence).

All processing will be conducted within the framework of the conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of Law No. 6698.

c) Recipients of Personal Data and Purpose of Transfer
Your personal data may be transferred, limited to the purposes stated above, to:

  • The COMPANY’s business partners, suppliers, and shareholders;
  • Individuals or organizations permitted under the Tax Procedure Law, Social Security Institution regulations, Court of Accounts, Anti-Money Laundering Law, Turkish Commercial Code, Code of Obligations, and other relevant legislation;
  • Legally authorized public institutions and administrative or legal authorities;
  • Overseas companies and subsidiaries;
  • Real or legal persons and program partner institutions providing services for product/service comparison, analysis, evaluation, advertising, and related purposes, as well as courier companies responsible for delivering your orders, in accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of Law No. 6698.

d) Methods and Legal Basis for Collecting Personal Data
Your personal data may be collected verbally, in writing, or electronically through COMPANY headquarters, partner websites, institutions with which support services are provided or received, our website and mobile applications, call centers, social media accounts, or any other channels that may be established in the future, in accordance with legal requirements and for the purposes stated above, including contract fulfillment.

e) Rights of the Data Subject under Article 11 of Law No. 6698
As a personal data subject, you may submit requests regarding your rights, which the COMPANY will process promptly, within thirty days at the latest. If the response is provided on a data medium (CD, flash drive, etc.), the fee charged by the COMPANY will not exceed the cost of the medium.

Within this scope, personal data subjects may:

  • Learn whether their personal data is processed;
  • Request information if their personal data has been processed;
  • Learn the purpose of personal data processing and whether it is used accordingly;
  • Know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad;
  • Request correction if personal data is incomplete or inaccurately processed and ensure that this is communicated to third parties;
  • Request deletion or destruction of personal data if the processing reason no longer exists, and ensure this is communicated to third parties;
  • Object to the emergence of a result against themselves through automatic analysis;
  • Request compensation for damages if personal data is unlawfully processed.

Requests must be submitted in Turkish and in writing or via registered electronic mail (KEP), secure electronic signature, mobile signature, or the previously registered email in our system, in accordance with Article 13/1 of Law No. 6698 and the Official Gazette No. 30356 dated 10.03.2018. Requests only pertain to the applicant and cannot include family members or third parties. The COMPANY reserves the right to verify your identity before responding.

a) Your full name and signature (if written),
b) Turkish ID number (for citizens) or nationality, passport number, or ID number (for foreigners),
c) Your residence or business address,
ç) Email, phone, and fax contact information (if any),
d) Subject of the request and any relevant documents.

To ensure your request is processed, identity verification information must be complete and accurate. If requested information is incomplete, the COMPANY may not fully or properly execute the request. The COMPANY reserves its legal rights.
